Brand Republic appoints new editor

Marketing news website Brand Republic has appointed Rich Sutcliffe as its new editor.

Currently digital editor of Media Week, Sutcliffe will become the site’s second editor when he replaces Gordon Macmillan from 1 September

Macmillan, who has beenat the helm of Brand Republic for eight years, will remain with Haymarket as its social media and international editor.

Sutcliffe, who has previously worked for Highbury House and Swinstead Publishing, joined Media Week in 2008.
